Prerequisites for the Introduction to Modern Vocal Training course are minimal.
In order to become a Certified Vocal Coach, however, all required skills must be completed by the end of the course.
Level 1 teachers should possess basic singing skills. There is no requirement to engage in individual vocal training with our organisation. But, if you do need training, we can help you solve this issue during our course.
Teachers are also required to have the ability to play all the basic piano scales needed in order to conduct a voice lesson. Anyone who has never played the piano before can easily learn these scales during the course.
Teachers who train at the higher levels will be required to possess more complex performance skills, such as the ability to sing a complex song, basic playing capabilities on an musical instrument, etc.
